Luckily here in Florida it's getting back to 'normal'. Those Alberta Clippers are brutal to us in the Deep South.
???? - he'll pay thru the nose for it - but - why not go buy a couple of 20lber propane tanks - use those instead of carrying around cans of gas ......
you talking about Mardi Gras? >>> about to get damn interesting around NOLA - supposedly a huge number of the 300,000 Haitians going on the ICE deportation list live around there .....
I'm seeing gently used generators for sale on Facebook Marketplace, especially in Mississippi and Tennessee, plus the usual older used generators of questionable condition. People getting rid of their recently acquired preps. I guess some can't afford to keep them and some don't think that they will never need them again.
This is a common delusion. Many "prep" for only the current emergency, because it is blathered about by the media, playing it up to catastrophic levels. But we know better. With proper preperation, the immediate emergency is perfectly manageable. And there WILL be another emergency down the road, then another. We know to keep our preps stacked, even when times are good. It's stupid to put yourself in debt stocking expensive equipment, then when the immediate need is gone to sell it at a loss. Then months later.... rinse and repeat.
