Very true. It is time to winterize the get home bag. I need to swap socks for thicker and heavier, put in the heating packs plus gloves and hat.
Been up in the attic off and on...pulling out the old insulation batts and putting in fresh...looks like the original was about 4"...putting in 12". Should make a bit of difference The house is quieter already.
It is that time of the year.... been working on winterizing the Get Home Bags plus making sure the kits in the back of the vehicles are stocked in case someone gets stuck. Have been spending time battling a rodent who moved into the garage. cleaning the furnace filter and checking for drafts.
