After the recent removal of an Iranian major general, Congress is terribly upset about not being informed. I believe the White House wisely kept the details secret because of potential leaks. So what happens if they now plan a completely fictional operation, and allow Congress to get the slightest hint of the details, to see where they are leaked, and by whom?

If the information actually gets transmitted, that's true. I was thinking more about using it to identify traitors. It'd face some pretty tough legal challenges, because if done by the White House it is a sting operation. If it's done by some guy in his basement, like the fake Russians with the nude pictures of Trump did to Adam Schiff, it could be a security treasure trove as the fake details are tracked as they spread.

 

Wow, I haven't read drivel like that in a long time. The kangaroo court, sham impeachment inquiry caused me to like the President more and completely lose faith in government bureaucracy. Every witness when asked under oath admitted Donald Trump broke NO laws and committed NO impeachable offenses.

Putin is taking advantage of the situation. If he actually had any deal with Trump he would have helped the President by keeping his mouth shut.

Donald Trump was never my choice for President. I believed he had a deal with Clinton to clear the field for her. It is obvious I was wrong. President Trump has been a much better president than I ever hoped. I disagree with him on some things, such as gun control, but there is no such thing as a perfect president.

 

Now that the Democrats case has been thoroughly dismantled in a few short hours by White House lawyers, we have a new revelation. Something that appeared in a manuscript written by John Bolton and was reviewed by Army Lt. Col. Yevgeny Vindman, a senior ethics lawyer for the National Security Council (NSC) has been leaked. Is it just me, or does it seem odd that this Vindman is the twin brother of Army Lt Col. Alexander Vindman, Director for European Affairs for the United States National Security Council (NSC)? The two work "across the hall" from each other. So from the tidbits I catch on the radio I hear that we have one leaker, and another, connected to the absent "whistle blower" whose commanding officer, Army Lt. Col. Jim Hickman, said: “Do not let the uniform fool you. He is a political activist in uniform.”

Doesn't it seen like it's time for these two to get transfer orders? I know back in my days in uniform if you stirred up anything that got you in the news you were overdue for orders to somewhere uncomfortable. It didn't matter if you had a chest full of medals, or walked on water. Alexander Vindman has been in Washington DC since 2015, which sounds like he's waaaaaay past due for his turn to deploy to Afghanistan, take command of a nice infantry unit in the Southern United States or maybe something more exotic in South East Asia.

 

The only good thing that could come out of this would be to dismiss the case.
Not acquit him of it.
Just dismiss it.
That way both republican and democrat voters can be pissed, and would make for a really exciting rest of the election cycle.

 

I don't think it should end that painlessly for the Democrats and especially their leadership in the House. I'm all for witnesses including Bolton, both Bidens, Schiff, Nadler, and maybe even Pelosi. Let's drag all the crap and corruption out into the light and get it the hell over with.

A quick dismissal will only leave doubts that will later be used by the corrupt liars. Frankly I think the Democrats are banking on this since they know all they have is vapor. Time for heads to roll and blood to flow, figuratively speaking. Schiff especially needs to be outed as he will otherwise likely succeed the elderly Diane Feinstein in the Senate. Both Biden's actions in the Ukraine needs to be investigated.

Isn't it strange that Biden is supposedly exempt from investigation because Biden is running for office but Trump MUST be investigated because Trump is runnign for office. Smells worse than a full diaper to me.

 

With the well disciplined brevity the White House lawyers have shown so far it could still be wrapped up quickly. How much time would the Democrats need to interview witnesses they would prefer not be called? The voting process of the impeachment has to have some of them squirming, knowing their vote will be needed on every potential "witness" and every procedural change. They know the folks at home are watching.

 

I agree that the Dimms are imploding if left unsupported by external people and/or events. However, there are three Jokers in the playing card deck that are likely Judas Snakes, depending on which pathway provides the most traction for the Dimms. The first Judas Snake could be the most recently revealed, former White House national security advisor John Bolton, whose prospective tell all book has been partially leaked (amazing timing). Mr. Bolton may yet be called as a witness for the Dimms if the votes are in the Senate.

The next potential Judas Snake could be RINO (republican in name only) Senator Mitt Romney. He has been making noises of leading a group of fellow RINOs to vote with the Dimms to comprise enough votes to cause the witness testimony process in the Senate to begin. That whole process will be a long running 3-Ring circus where we'll need a score card to discern which side the politicians are actually on.

The third, final, and most venemous potential Judas Snake is the presiding Chief Justice over the Senate Impeachment proceedings, John Roberts. I think he is the Dimm's "ace in the hole" to be used as a last resort. He was appointed to the Supreme Court as a constitutional conservative, but in recent years has demonstrated an amazingly jelly-like backbone in bending over to rule in favor of the Dimm side. I suspect the Deep State / Dimms have something on Judge Roberts that he doesn't want revealed.

Roberts ruled twice on 5-4 Supreme Court decisions allowing Obamacare to continue to exist. His vote was the swing vote for the Dimm side, which is why that abomination of government mandated healthcare continues to live, though on life support due to The Donald's efforts. Nonetheless, the nose of that camel is still in the tent, putting the availability of quality health care to Americans in the future at risk.

Thus far, Chief Justice John Roberts has maintained a reasonably subdued profile during this impeachment proceeding, much like a coiled snake that hasn't started to rattle. If it appears that the Trump presidency defense team is going to roll through the Dimms impeachment efforts in quick fashion, I wouldn't be surprised of some hard left turn ruling emanating from the Chief Justice's mouth.

In the words of former NY Yankee catcher and Hall of Famer, Yogi Berra, "It ain't over till it's over". The political direction this country takes, at least for the next 4 years, surely does hang in the balance.
