1/16" (7x7) Break Strength 480lbs Galvanized Aircraft Cable | Fastenal Try 1/16" cable. Very thin, and still has almost 500lbs strength. Will tie without too much trouble, but a snap clip on one end and a cinch loop on the other works well.
@Bishop I should have written 11D2 as it was the highest rank I achieved in that MOS. Did some digging and the 11D was discontinued and replaced by the 19D "Among recommendations submitted by the Tank Forces Management Group, twenty-eight concerned personnel actions. One of the most important was the establishment of a separate armor management field. Some of the broad military occupational specialties such as 11D, Armor Reconnaissance Specialist, and 11E, Armor Crewman, will be broken down into more descriptive categories and assigned new numbers in the 19-series. For example, 11E will be split into five new MOS's-19G Armor Reconnaissance Vehicle Crewman; 19H, Armor Reconnaissance Vehicle Driver; 19E M48-M60A1/A3 Armor Crewman, 19F Tank Driver, 19J M60A2 Armor Crewman; and MOS 11D will be converted" Gosh I'm so old my MOS was obsoleted.
You see? Now you have ME feeling old and I know you're older than I am! 11BC2 --the MOS is "dragon gunner", the M47 weapon system (anti-tank missile) replaced by the Javelin. The Army figured, a fire and forget missile can be used by anyone, unlike the old wire guided missiles which took quite a bit of training to ensure effectiveness. I think our life expectancy was measured in seconds, lol... @Bishop I couldn't make heads or tails from that net trap you just posted. Looks like a hot mess! Hope it works for you though.
@Brokor As you left your youth in the Army, same as the rest of us, you're old. Joking aside, the only dragon when I was in was in was Puff the magic dragon.
