People tend to think irrationally when stressed. Just gathering the crumbs here I'm thinking she needed a way out from her present situation and along came KK. Then when KK, a man of means, decided to oust her she decided to take him out. The method and ingredient shows strong premeditation. Poisoning indicates hatred and a desire to cause suffering. I would watch my six until she is picked up. I doubt she thought past the poison, but now that it was not effective she could bring other surprises to bear. She now basically has nothing to lose.

Excellent point above. I hadn't considered a second attempt. She could spin a yarn about how terrible you are and send someone else to try to finish the job. You probably don't want to meet any of her friends or grown children. Keep the pups close and alert and trust in your spider sense. If something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't.

Maybe it's not so bad that I live alone.

 

Good points. Kamp do you have anyone you could stay with for a few weeks and monitor your place with security cameras until you are on the mend or she is caught?

 

Probably shouldn't have blocked her number ,, just quit answering,, then she would have shown up just thinking you were dead ,, then ya could of had the law pick her for trying to rob you. But that's just me.
This is still a crazy freeking story.
Did you recognize the green flakes as poison ? Or did it just spark your suspicion ?
Either way ,, I'm glad you had the sense to quit using that coffee . Have you heard from the cops if anything else was poisoned yet ?

The green was not obvious or even noticeable until I got to the bottom of the can where the heavier larger particles had settled to. The rest of it in the can was a very fine powder. As far as hearing from the cops or the States Attorney they will not be giving me or anyone else anymore details of their findings.

The Dog Food is all stored on the racks in the food container and locked. Call me paranoid but no one goes in that container but me. I Bring One 50 pound bag of DF out at a time and it was in the Camper inside the Camper, inside the Chainlink Dog Yard I made beside the Camper......... She was terrified of the Dogs at this point and would not have entered the Camper area

No one would that want me to bring 4 Big Dogs and one BB And I wouldn't leave my home turf anyway. I did make some adjustments to the security system. I really don't like the idea of Cameras in the Cabin but was only using 14 of the 16 Cameras that came with the new system, so Put one in the hallway area Looking at the front door, livinging/dining area and Kitchen. And added one outside that covers a blind spot I had not noticed before. LOL just ain't gonna put cameras in my bedroom and bathroom LOL.

The thought has crossed my mind and it would be foolish for me to deliver Justice unto her. I am going to have a little faith in the Legal and Justice system and let it grind its way through this one.

 

Of course, the way her leg looked she probably is not in any shape to come back.

Yep ,, sometimes,, people get their just rewards .
If she doesn't take any better care of that leg than she was at Kamps place ,,, she may end up a 1 legged inmate .

 

Looking back at the pictures from almost a month ago, I'd be surprised if she hasn't lost the leg or died from sepsis. It could have already altered her mental state before she left.

Always better to let them come to you (sometimes called hunting over a baited field) then you can claim self-defense! Of course, if I knew that I was dying... road-trip!

 

This is what it looked like when we got back from the ER. Nasty bite but she had been loaded up with IV Antibiotics, and prescriptions for a capsule cocktail of antibiotics to take at home and strict instructions to get to a Doctor or ER at the first sign of infection.


This is 10 days after the ER Visit with her refusing to take the antibiotics because they upset her tummy. And refusing to to go to Doc or a ER at the first sign of infection. It was another 7 days after this pic was taken that she finally couldn't stand the aroma of rotting human anymore and went to the ER. It was a lot worse then than in this picture.


You get the idea of how much they cut out in the first emergency surgery from this picture. This pic is 3 weeks after the first surgery and the one she sent me in the middle of that big ice storm demanding I take her to the ER RIGHT NOW. She had not taken the Antibiotics again, laid there and let it rot for 3 more weeks and fully believes letting her little dogs lick and chew it is wound care. That incision from the first surgery starts just below her knee and that rotten mayo ooozing out went from what is picture all the way up. When she did get to the ER she was rolled right in for a second emergency surgery and it was cut open again and considerably more putrid tissue and infection cut out and she was kept in the hospital for 7 days on round the clock IV antibiotic cocktails. I never got to see it after the second surgery. I only know that surgeon said if she didn't take care of it this time that there was nothing left to cut out and the next surgery would be removing the leg from the knee down. Something interesting in this infection........ The Bacteria was a new one in the cultures the Bacteria from PoPs Mouth was no longer present. But it was a Bacteria found in Dogs Mouths and in feces. I suspect that was introduced from her dogs licking and chewing the incision.


Kind of defines the old saying "PLAY STUPID GAMES AND WIN STUPID PRIZES!"

And 8:07PM on the night of that ice storm we already had 3" of solid ice on everything including the roads. Most of the Roads at that point had already been shut down including interstates.

 

That's nasty. She's stupid.

I'd have taken the antibiotics and kept it coated with silver sulfadine under a wrap.

 

I plan to put a dead critter on top of whoever I need to bury deep, let them think its a road kill.

 

it's almost impossible to get IL license plates without a title - no type of vehicle - not even some little half azz Harbor Freight trailers >>>> but - they sell all the time between private parties - RVs sell with no title with no intent to ever see a road again - use them on private property or some RV park campsite ......

I'd get that RV rig off the property - give it away if nothing else - don't give the bitch no excuses to come back on the property >>>>
