Not to argue but your formula is way off.

You have just sodium here.
Baking soda is NaHCO3 = Na is the soduim. The HCO3 is the 1 hydrogen/ and 3 Carbons atoms
Table salt is NaCL =1 sodium atom and 1 chlorine atom

You have no potassium, magnesium and other trace minerals which are important parts of the balacned electolytes mixture.

This is the mixture I use. I get at Whole Foods or on Amazon. Same folks that make EmerginC

I live off of this in AZ in the summer time. No sugars or sweetners.

Well, you do what you will, I'll rely on science and the physiology of the kidney and not 50 year old remembrances or documentaries. It's pretty simple: The kidneys cannot take anything like seawater and process it without diluting it first. The fluids to dilute it come from the body, and there is no such thing as conditioning the kidney to do so by incrementally increasing the salt content.

And thats why ocean-going survival kits have reverse osmosis filters or chemical desalination kits to take seawater and make it potable.

Summer is tough here ... if I dont get enough electrolytes i get leg cramps at night.

 

We live on this during the summers here in AZ. Its also good for hangovers.........or so I have heard

The stuff they put in the army first aid kit is called "citralite" its a lemon flavor electrolyte drink mix for when some one gets dehydrated.
