Isn't there a law that prevents high level state and/or city officials from influencing national policy?
I could have swore I heard something about a law preventing them from trying to influence policy outside of their own jurisdiction.
Most . . . states and cities have become whores to the fed dollars. Redistribution, plain and simple.
