hmmm.... there are many many other questions on this site... and many of those are far more valid and probably urgent... real interesting how this one has soooooo many that seem to support it.... could someone... of several someones... be using a fix/hax/prog of some sort to artificially increase the numbers? ya I know this is sort of a political thing but... to me the numbers shown seem artificial and hacked... I can just hear a commentator on the nightly news talkin about the massive numbers... but I have to say I do NOT believe there are that many... IMHO stupid... that do NOT actually know the law... people... there ain't no loop hole... and time after time they are given proof that illegal/criminal methods are used to obtain weapons... Vote on this #OpenQuestion for next presidential debate!
The question is a lie... Felons cannot buy guns, legally. If a felon does get a gun it is generally through another illegal act. Background checks are only effective when someone who is legally determined to not have the right to own a firearm attempts to purchase one legally through a dealer. How many Felons do you think will attempt to gain access to a firearm through the legal process? I know, I know.... This is just how I answer the gun dumb when the start preaching universal background checks.
