No no no..... will it kill the grass??? Are you two serious? If it will kill you, it will kill your dog. Save the dog! If you do not want to get out the 4-wheeler, I like @hot diggity's method. Nothing like a lazy Sunday afternoon sitting on the back porch plinking gophers.

 

LOL.. I have never killed my dogs, I loved them more then some people. When I did it, I would cover the holes with a patio stone. Then go off and do other things, mostly yard work it would be 2 or 3 hours before I went back and picked up the stone. By then it had broke down. Never had a problem.
