Having Been a Weekend RangeMaster for a Big Range in the Seattle area.... It was the Policy, there, that NO ONE was allowed to touch ANY Brass that was NOT their Own. If you didn't police-up your OWN Brass, it became "Property of the Range" once you left the Position, with your Weapon. Collection of Brass could ONLY take place, during "Cease Fires" Policy was plainly Posted, at each Position, and strictly enforced..... ..... YMMV.....
no non-expanding bullet handgun ammo is worth much, other than for training, so why would it matter? Do you need extra recoil for a stiff action or something? It would make sense to get weaker springs for such a gun, you know. Google for Brownell's Supply or Wolf Custom Gun Springs.
Had a steel case slip thru the other day, I had found it after depriming it and resizing it, So being the Wildman that I am, I went for it. I wouldn't do this everyday, But it can be done !
Ever used MilSpec FMJ 45 ACP? Or Hard Cast .45 ACP? Boredom is the Devils Workshop, filled with fools.
