It's great to be politically active and knowledgeable, but (IMO) you need to take time to lighten up and giggle a bit to keep your sanity. I'd love to hear some new riddles... Post 'em here!

What did the redneck do with his his first fifty-cent piece?
    He married her.

How many psychiatrists does it take to screw in a light bulb? One, but it takes five sessions.

    And one for the season:

You might be a redneck if... ...the Jack-O-Lantern on your porch has more teeth than you!

What goes around the world, yet stays in a corner?
    A stamp.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]I'm as small as an ant, as big as a whale. I'll approach like a breeze, but can come like a gale. By some I get hit, but all have shown fear. I'll dance to the music, though I can't hear. Of names I have many, of names I have one. I'm as slow as a snail, but from me you can't run. What am I?
    A shadow

    A hole

    Gloves

    Dang it, Sea!

I got most of yours before checking the answers.

I'm still miffed about the stair one (I thought "steps"), I thought "meat" instead of corn (cuz I don't eat innards) and was just sure that I was right by thinking "heart valve" or some other surgically-related item.

Good ones!!! I love a good challenge!

    I got yours, Clyde!

    Here's a joke I just remembered:

A truck driver hits a woman. Who's to blame?

The truck driver, of course! What was he doing driving in the kitchen?
