    LOS ANGELES - Robert Culp, the actor who teamed with Bill Cosby in the racially groundbreaking TV series "I Spy" and was Bob in the critically acclaimed sex comedy "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice," died Wednesday after collapsing outside his Hollywood home, his manager said. Culp was 79.

    He played many a bad guy on Columbo.
    Also Hysterical as Debra's dad on Everybody Loves Raymond.

    First Peter Graves; next Fess Parker; and third Robert Culp. In Hollywood the famous actors usually "ride off into the sunset" in threes. Merlin Olsen would make it four, but he was an All-Pro defensive lineman for the LA Rams before he became an actor and TV football commentator. I'll miss them all because each of them were top class human beings and men of a down-to-earth cut that is sorely lacking among Hollywood actors today.
