Hit the nail on the head! I don't understand why it is such an unpopular idea? Would it be because we would have to admit we were/are wrong? I heard he got boo-ed, but I hadn't read why. I like that Ron Paul.
I like Ron Paul very much, i believe him to be honest and sincere. Saying that i don't believe he has a snowballs chance in hell of being elected president. The powers that really run things would never allow it.
Chomsky is a bit of a dilettante, so it seems to me, and he's left of center by a good bit. That said, he's pretty close to agreeing with RP on that point, if that one alone. Read the commentary following the article and see some of his followers thinking, or lack thereof, not even mentioning CTs brought up.
Ron's comments are correct. He was a bit off toward the end- #s of Iraqis "we" bombed.... nowhere close. Definitely the right idea, though.
