Me- 24oz bone in ribeye with bone marrow butter, Dh had the 14oz butterflied fillet with whiskey infused tellcherry pepper sauce.
Grilled hallomi fries, fried shiitake mushrooms and padron peppers.

Starter/side was coconut prawns with a chilli lime mayo.

Dessert, some sortta rasberry, whipped double cream & mascarpone concoction I made up

Halloumi or haloumi is a semi-hard, unripened, brined cheese made from a mixture of goat's and sheep's milk, and sometimes also cow's milk. It is like a cheese stick but not mozzarella.

It is a brined cheese. What does that taste like? Texture?

 

Yeah, its made in cyprus. Kinda hard to describe the texture, it keeps its shape when cooked (dosent melt) and toast up really easily. Closests I could describ is sorta spongy / rubbery? But that makes it sound bad and its not.

 

In case you havent noticed, I really like bone in ribeyes... and bone marrow butter... think theres some mushrooms on the plate somewhere to.
