Get some marrow bones and roast them in the oven.. usally 350 for 45-60 minutes. Scoop out all the hot marrow bits into a food processor or dish you can use a hand blender in. Dump in all the melted marrow “oil” , add equal amount of butter (give or take, dosent need to be exactly 50/50) some salt and pepper plus any herbs you want (parsley is a good one, gonna try roasted garlic next time) Blitz till well blended. Let cool and form into a roll if you want to keep for later (you can roll in parchment paper & put in a ziplock to keep in freezer & cut a bit off when you want it)
I have to ask - each of these pictured plats look to hold over 1500 calories worth of chow. Is this the only meal for the day? If not, how is it that you lose weight with so much/such a high caloric intake?
Oh , Id guess at least 1500 cal. Some are probably closer to 3000 (maybe even over) I eat when im hungry, sometimes 1x a day, sometimes 2... sometimes 3 if you count the occasional dessert or my morning buttered coffee etc I dont count calories and I make no effort to limit calories (just carbs) Complicated to explain but basically, fat dosent make you fat. And carbs do. (Think about it...what do the feed pigs, cows etc to fatten them up? Right...corn, oats, grains...) calories in=calories out is a flawed sytem. It only works in a totaly inclosed system and our bodys are not an inclosed system. (Basicly c-in/c-out dosent acount for things like metabolism, insulin, cortisol, and how our body reacts to different types of foods, ie ribey vrs. Scottish fudge) If your really intrested you can look up keto diet. Dr Ken Berry on youtube has a lot of realy good short videos on all sorts of Keto info (and easy to understand, you dont need a freaking medical dictionary to follow what hes saying) Dr. Jason Fung is really good to
