So the world has gone crazy and you have a garden with various lettuce and salad greens. What kind of dressing do you use? something you can make?
Yes,vinaigrettes especially. You can easily ferment the vinegar and grow the rest. I have a sausage press that can also be used to press oils. Spices and salt would potentially be the most difficult to obtain.
Whats salad?? Is that some form of flavored meat? Seriously, I like oil and vinegar on my salad of Jalapeno peppers, baby spinach and tomato's.
Balsamic Vinegar, Olive Oil, a bit of sugar or honey to taste and take the bite out of the vinegar, shredded greek oregano, a crushed garlic clove and a whole sage leaf in a pint jar. Let it sit for 24 hours and apply to salads.
WHAT? IS that the green stuff? YUCK Just kidding! Normally its Lighthouse Blue Cheese dressing, pinch of fresh coarse ground pepper, shredded cheddar, sun flower seeds, bacon bits, carrot strips and fresh sliced and skinned cucumber and croutons! We also like Italian Dressing, basically Olive Oil, Balsamic vinegar, and various spices!
