Anybody have it? A friend of mine just got it in St. Louis, and he likes it so far. The basic "hi-spee" is $14.95 a month, and for "DSL-like" speed it is $21 or so. It comes in through your phone line, but doesn't tie up your phone.

Man, my rural pricing is bad. I just looked into a Verizon PCI card for the laptop. "Just over Dial-up Speed" is $59 a month... Plus the $99 card with a 2 year agreement. I may go with it as I'm in the field so much and need to get online from time to time...

Check into SBC. They just might offer something for you. I may opt for it, since they own Cingular I could save some money by going for a package deal.

No DSL or 'phone line options' here. If it comes through the phone, it better be talk or dial up for me.

My only Higher-speed option at all has been Direcway satellite
