  1. I’m casting a documentary about Seasteading and we’re looking for men and women who are interested in actually trying to create a colony in the middle of the ocean. We have a location secured 35 miles off the coast in the Atlantic Ocean, but there’s a lot of work to be done to make it a viable place to live long term.

This isn’t a ridiculous “social experiment” like Utopia. Our focus is on the nuts and bolts of trying to create a self sustaining colony, focusing on the challenges of construction, generating power, growing food through aquaculture, etc.
We’re mostly looking for people with valuable skills and/or ideas that will be necessary for launching the colony, but if this is something you’re passionate about, we’d like to hear from you even if you’re not sure how valuable your contribution would be.

Is this something you would be interested in or would you know anyone that would?

Unless you have a plan for a source of "Income" for the community, it will be a very short experiment.... Even commercial fishing, requires a significant investment in Permits, Gear, vessel and a Market to sell to... There just isn't a viable Income Stream out there to support a "Community" and 30% of the Population is likely to get SEASICK... Right off the bat.... Just acknowledging the FACTS......
