How do I send my brother his old shotgun that our Dad left him ?
through a FFL?
Only if he is in a different State, or you or he can meet up somewhere in person...k
Just send it as long as his state doesn't have any stupid gun laws. Just say it's his. Or USP it to his house and put your name on the from and too.
It's from Minnesota to Arizona
cold in MN, way warmer in AZ.
Sounds like a good reason for a road trip.
Just did it early last year.
Sent my brother his old Mauser converted to a deer rifle a few years ago via UPS-- SC to TX no trouble.
AZ don't care.
Better idea, put his name on the from and too.
Take it apart so you can ship in 2 different packages and declare it as machined parts
Long guns can even be shipped USPS as long as it's going to the owner. Put his name on the from and to person.
now is a real bad time to be doin dis .. .. jus sayn .. ..
The only cautionary note I can think of when using USPS these days is the inevitable delays to deliveries. I'd look into UPS before USPS.
Send it to me,I'll let you know if it arrives safely and a few shells would be an extra bonus
I found that with USPS if you insure it for enough then, BAM, magically no delays or lost packages.
Pay for next day delivery and they will chase you down for your signature. The .410 will run about $125.00 to your destination.
Separate names with a comma.
