Speakin' of new knives, I have a Strider SMF on the way. My first Strider folder! Bear sent me a GB to try out once and it was so big I went with the slightly smaller one. Recurve Ranger Green Handles (it's on the bottom of the ripped-off pic!)
Valkman. I have that GB in my pocket right now!!! No room for anything else and it makes the SnG look like a poodle chew toy
His only Strider I think bear. He just got it yesterday or the day before. Been driving his wife crazy because he keeps stopping and smelling it.
No no - my first Strider was the MTL-SS fixed blade I got from Bear when he "donated" it at uh, another long-ago forum. But this is my first Strider folder and it is sweet. Emerson is high quality but I think this SMF could cut them in half. And I keep sniffing it 'cause it's got that "Strider Smell"!

True dat! I probably would have found a way to do it but Bear made it much easier. I had no idea how to heat treat knives and that's what stopped me for a while until he sent me the bricks. The videos really helped also and I have since bought them and still watch 'em!
