    Very nice knives gentlemen!
@ Seacowboys I beleive that that would be a the rare deranged possum with teeth of steel that have been tempered by the finest craftsmen of Toledo Spain. I also like your auto and that MK II.

Nice Godson seacowboys. Or is that actually a Godfather II? Hard to tell from the angle but they are nice autos.

And here is another one that is eluding me. It is something that was inherited from my great grandfather. Sorry for being cheap and using the Amazon pic, but my camera is broken. This is the closest thing to what I have that is in production.

Bison Forge>.... Thank you. I just wanted to update you and let you know I bought those Rada knives you told me about. They're fantastic for slicing tomatoes and paring and the handles aren't wood so they can be run through the dishwasher time and time again!!!

Thanks to the member who contacted me privately who told me the bird and trout knife I'd stumbled upon was a decent knife that would serve me well... I don't have it yet but.... I ordered it.

No problem, happy to help. They are favorites in our family.

I looooove them and... there's no beating the price on them. I'm in shock that they cut as well as my Cutco knives that have handles made from the same material that they make bowling balls out of. I picked up 4 Raads for the less than the price of one Cutco and both have dishwasher safe handles.

Does anyone have any scythes they can show photos of?

Oopsie.... I was actually looking for more information than just photos. There's so many different styles of scythes and I'm sure some are better for some tasks while others are better for other tasks. I'm looking for one that could best be used for a bamboo-like plant.

Lemans has a lot about scythes. Look at their website.

While technically not a knife, this is made by one of the leading knife manufacturers in the nation. I give you.........

The Benchmade Knives 1100 Series Pen:

I know what you are thinking, " who on earth would spend that much money on a pen?" Well, my answer is this: I got it for free. So I have a great pen/self defence tool, and I am not going to be too hurt if I loose it or it gets stolen/ lost.

Update to that post, the pen has been lost or stolen, who knows which, but it was great while it lasted.

Forgive me for bumping, but I want the newer people to have a chance at some of the older threads.
