I shoot more .308 than anything. Most of my favorites are in that caliber. The first is sort of a mystery, since Springfield Armory has no record of it and Elmer Ballence says he didn't build it. The serial number is what sets it apart, well that and the fact that it is the sweetest shooting M1A that I ever saw. The second rifle is a Federal Ordnance M14 National Match with a titanium Sadlak mount and a mil-dot glass. The Savage model 10 is a real tack-driver too and I absolutely love that Leupold mil-dot glass. The FN Fal is an STG58 that I built from a kit with a DSA receiver. I enjoy shooting it so much that I haven't had time to take it back down to bead-blast and parkerize but we'll get around to it soon.
