Recipe Simple Crawfish Alfredo

    This is such a simple and tasty recipe that even Northerners can try it and will learn how to properly conjugate the word y'all.
    Need:
    one pound of peeled crawfish tails (even the frozen ones from China work)
    half a stick of butter
    cup of chopped green onions, parsley, and sweet basil mixed
    can of cream of mushroom soup
    can of Hot Rotel
    half cup heavy cream
    half cup grated pamesian cheese
    salt and pepper
    Cajun seasoning
    box of penne pasta
    Put pasta on to boil (a dash of salt and olive oil will keep it from sticking)
    In a deep pan or wok, add butter, onions, parsley, and basil cook for a couple minutes
    add crawfish tails, salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning and cook for a minute or two
    add cream of mushroom soup, cream, rotel and stir. Let it simmer until pasta is done
    drain pasta and add to sauce, dump in parmesian cheese and mix; serve and learn various Southern colloquial expressions of delight.

    Cajun seasoning - quantity? Or does a southerner just know how much to use?

    Shucks, stuff liken to dat will make your tongue slap yer eye teeth out....LOL. We used to call crawfish fresh water shrimp---and ate them like that. Crawfish tails are mighty fine eating.

    about a table spoon is good for most folks but you can sprinkle it on when you serve it cause I don't think you can use too much?
