small blackened recurve

    Small recurve with a 3.25" blade and an OAL of 7". Unsharpened upper swedge and black paracord weaved handle.

    Very Nice.... [beer] what do you use to blacken? What kind of steel?

    After finishing the knife, I give it a black oxide bath, then seal it. The steel is O1.

    Your work is very impressive Mark! You seem to have the patience that I never did to really finish them off that early in making them. Patience is a great thing to have as a knifemaker - wish I could buy some!
