Solar Golf cart as Survival vehicle. AKA the " Letric Lee"

I’m from the north central part ,a little piece south of Ruston.

 

about a 4 hr drive i think.

 

Installed a 5000 watt /10000 surge inverter. way over kill to power a 14 amp electric chainsaw. Next week we are using it to run the house water pump. An 3/4 hp shallow well pump.

He's never ran a chainsaw before so I was a little nervous.

 

Added two more panels by making temporary mounts than can be removed quickly. Brings the capacity to 1440 watts.. Its a little shaky in the back, but seems to be roadworthy. Just have to remember you have a lot more hanging off front and rear. Should bring the charging to about 35-40 amps even under less than ideal conditions.

 

Electric saws are great to start with.
They are still kind of loud but I don't think they can be heard from a half mile away like gas saws.

Charges at around 35 amps in full, peak sun.
