Soon, Americans will be able to say "Merry Christmas" again, according to Donald Trump.

Christmas doesn't just get marketed in December....in the Southern hemisphere we in Australia have 'Christmas in July' inflicted upon us....





It's a purely secular celebration of traditional Christmas fare and feasting thank god...I don't think Jesus gets a look in.....

 

Xmas in July hereabouts is a push for funding a local (more or less) charity, nothing to do with religion at all. PIA when it is featured on the local news. Not because it's a bad deal for those that need it, but because it eats up time better spent on real news. Then again, it's a filler for when there's nothing worth reporting.
