Two weeks ago, I fired a 1911 for the first time ever. If this is better than that, I'll reconsider my reactionary prejudice FOR 1911s. While I ain't from MO, it is now a case of "Show Me." Mind is closing rapidly, the 1911 is even more controllable than my 357.
Well, unless the cheap POS .45 I had from hi point or some such would be considered a 1911 clone then I would qualify too.
Well, thats about as close as I've gotten to shooting a 1911, in fact come to think of it thats the only .45 I have even shot.
Well I went up to my FFL today and got to fingerbang the XD a little To my being used to 1911s and what not the trigger feels WAY DIFFERENT....kinda like stepping on a plum?
Actually, I got it about 3 weeks ago. A shipment of 1000 rds .45 arrived a few days later. Planning on getting to the range in the next couple weeks. Now the family is getting my cold.
