China would sit back and wait until we killed each other off. They play a high percentage game and everything is about the long run. Something we should try to learn.

 

Tried to get the kids to learn Chinese 30 years ago--still not a bad idea. They will end up the next world super power and possibly control it.

 

I was in China for three weeks in '08. At the time any school age child under 14 could speak English. Not their parents, just them. Parents would bring their children up to us and make them speak to us so they could hear English without a Chinese accent. It was amazing to me. We are way behind in this country. Know your enemy and his ways.
