a slightly cheaper alternative can be found at Lee Valley Tools as they have a rare earth magnet and a cup for said magnet that you can screw mount. You could probably get 5 of them for the same price. a 1" rare earth magnet will hold 30 pounds
I see those magnets as fine for display. With the pull they have, it'll take a hell of a yank to get the piece into play.
Good point, I seem to remember having one somewhere, I'll see if I can find it an give it a test, but not today.
