Had surgery yesterday and am moving slow. This lead to me thinking has anyone planned to move wounded with a stretcher or casualty blanker? If so what?

Moving slow maybe, but thinking fast. Good question. What do any of us have that might be useful as a stretcher? Space blankets? Inflatable beach mattresses? Parts and pieces that could be assembles as a travois? Garden carts? Sleeping bags?

Standard EMS Backboard Kit, here, and a Stokes with blankets, left over from the Old Days.... and a previous Life..... ..... YMMV....

I have an old military surplus canvas and wood stretcher. It hangs out in a corner. A standard camping cot will work in a pinch also. I also have sawhorses to set the stretcher handles on to raise a person to waist height for any emergency medical attention. YMMV.
