A good friend shipped me a bunch of knives to play with. Very nice to be able to handle/fondle each of the different models. With 3 Striders in the mix, including a GB and a Custom Nightmare, I think I like the Emerson HMMV-K the best....
, hell yeah... I'm screen shot Daddy... That Strider GB is 9 3/8" overall with a 3 1/2" blade. Not sure what it costs but I'm betting around $450.
You should try one of these babies: The Coldsteel Gunsite I have had mine for over 8 years....maybe longer, hell I forget. Costed about $150 then, and is about $70 now. The Gunsite folders have an all Zytel handle with and integral pocket clip for easy carry. Mine has a 5" blade, and a 6" handle. I sometimes jab it through a quarter just to show how it can withstand such a feat....plus if I am ever attacked by a quarter, I am all set with my preparedness training. I can't believe that one folder costs $400 or more, Melbo! That's a HELL of a knife. Made from the fires of Mordor or something?

You will not b able to braek that knife without mechanical leverage... You can cut a hole in concrete block with it and then cut your way inside a Truck... Striders are tough as nails. Bear, time for a lesson in Steel.....

Take the GB.... hammer it through a hollow tile block a few times untill there's no more tile block.... then shove it through an old abandoned car door a few times.... bet you it comes through with flying colors.... Striders are tough... and that GB is their toughest folder.... well at least it certainly is their beefiest....
