    2nd metacarpal is gone, along with significant lateral support for index and 3rd.

    Likely a permanent injury was what I thought too just judging from the video. He may as well have his middle finger amputated for all the good it will do him going forward. Looked as if a significant portion of the bone was gone, pulverized.

    Not sure what possessed him to stuff the muzzle into the palm of his left hand and then of all things, pull the trigger, not even bothering to clear the chamber. Even we old guys don't have senior moments that bad.

    Likely he had never dealt with a semi-auto pistol until he got that one from his Taliban Buddies… Typical untrained dufus, showing off for his buddies, and girl friend…. I have seen many more, just like him, when I was a RangeMaster in Washington State… Darwin has nothing on these kind of kids, and they usually die young…

    None. Blew a hole threw the wide part of his hand. Imagine the damage to the bone structure tendons there ! Take a long time to get over, if ever.

    A relative sent me that video the other week asking if that was a 1911. I replied no, thats a TT33 in 7.62x25 and his hand is toast. I had to watch it multiple times as I just had a problem with the utter stupidity of what I was watching. Stupid is as stupid does.

    I don't think he will ever be wearing that again, unless they dress his corpse before burying him! That 7.62 went right up his nose and out the top of his head!

    I just wonder if this Yahoo, forgot to clean the dirt out of the Tube before he fired it... There isn't supposed to be that much friction between the Projectile and the Tube... Looks like a case of "Hold my Beer, and watch this..."
