So every thread I post or reply to is automatically subscribed to... How do I stop this?
Did you check your settings in account preferences?
Yep, get out of TT and hit the link Brokor just posted and find Options:
Have you tried using your phone without TT yet? We're thinking about phasing it out in the not too distant future.
Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply...
and receive email notifications of replies
SM Moves to a Responsive Style
You could also create a rule in your email client to auto-delete or move the mail to a specified folder.
TT is more annoying than that as you get App notifications on top of emails.
No sympathy from me....I took around 40 tech support calls today while training a new hire.
Later, I will go through the steps posted, wierd this is the only forum I have this problem with
It's all based around the default settings that were in place on our import from vBulletin.
When someone starts or replies to a thread, the system assumes that it's something that you are interested in and lets you know when someone else has replied after you. It's a simple settings change but we cannot make that change from the admin side as it's in your personal preferences area.
We really are planning to shut tapatalk off in the near future.
That's because this is prolly the only forum you've been on where the mods dont just "plug and play" software.

I downloaded tap a talk last night and did not care for iI would see whatstalled it and back to browsing forums the old fashioned way. It is bad enough Google and my provider know what I am doing online,I don't need another company knowing what I am doing.
Thought I would see what all the hype was about with Tap A Talk, surprised to see you guys using this.
I'm not anymore ever since we made the forums work on mobile devices without any other helper apps.
With the switch to https, TT users must delete SM and then re-add SM to the TT application. Sorry for the inconvenience
