Recipe tater tot bake/casserole

1-2 lbs ground venison (pending on how big your casserole dish is )
1-2 cans cream of mushroom
1 small to mid sized onion (optional)
1 can french cut green beans
1 bag tater tots
cheddar or american cheese

brown meat (and onion) in skillet when browned add n com and green beans ...
mix well and pour into cassrole dish
stack tots in rows covering the mix
place cheese (or grate cheese) covering tots ..

bake at temp tot bag recommends . and for same amount of time it says on the bag ...

simple easy .. and satisfying ... i used ground turkey elk .. buffalo .. beef and deer for this one ..
all have come out tasty

 

That brings back memories. This dish was a favorite of my youngest, he used to sit in his high chair and snarf it down. Haven't made it in some time.

 

really jazz it up, add some different types of cheese, or even some bell peppers or something spicier I love TT casserole. easy to fix and very filling after a long day out in the cold. really warms the body
