An interesting new pistol from Taurus. 2005 NRA Handgun of the Year. Anyone else heard about it?

Load up and every shot is fired with a crisp single action trigger pull. Then its happened to all of us... a deafening click and no ignition until now the only way to correct the problem is a rack-jack-slap or some ridiculous mantra THE TAURUS MODEL 24/7 PRO IS THE ONLY PISTOL THAT AUTOMATICALLY REVERTS TO DOUBLE ACTION and with a simple trigger pull gives you a life saving double action try at firing a faulty cartridge. If it still does not fire, then extraction by slide operation will insert a fresh round and revert to single action firing mode Automatically. That is not all the Taurus Model 24/7 has all the features of the original NRA American Rifleman Handgun of the Year Award Winning Edition, such as Loaded chamber indicator, Manual Safety, Taurus Security System, Internal Trigger Safety, and overmolded ribber grip...and NOW the surefire SINGLE ACTION DOUBLE ACTION!

Ergonomically it looks like a good fit. I would like to shoot one.

15 rounds of 40 sounds good, but I think I want to try one of the XD 45 ACPs, I don't need another caliber.

I wouldn't mind having a .40, just something different. If .357 Sig keeps going up I am going to have to buy a new .40 barrel for my Glock anyway.
