    My clipsecure file is on a defunct domain.
    I'm looking at hosting my own TOR hidden server

    What I did find was that you needed an SSL or https. We had that.
    Also, the encryption engine needs to be on your local PC. An encryption done on the web travels there through snoopable backbones.

    Years ago I use to use PGP (pretty good privacy) which worked real well, as I recall that one scrambled on the fly with the entry of a password, of course it didn't work so well with PM's or IM's
