An interesting and enlightening report on where we stand in the world, in regards to personal and economic freedom!! According to the study, these were the factors: ■ Rule of Law ■ Security and Safety ■ Movement ■ Religion ■ Association, Assembly, and Civil Society ■ Expression ■ Relationships ■ Size of Government ■ Legal System and Property Rights ■ Access to Sound Money ■ Freedom to Trade Internationally ■ Regulation of Credit, Labor, and Business http://object.cato.org/sites/cato.org/files/human-freedom-index-files/human-freedom-index-2015.pdf
And personal freedom, that meaning to move freely about, remove your money from that country. Pretty clear that was a "loaded" report. I notice that the US group in this paper has a subject in another article of "unearned, hereditary wealth" socialist for sure.
Interestingly or not, Hong Kong is under China's hegemony. Freedoms? Meh, maybe not so much, even with the turn over documents the Brits signed with China. (But the economy is HOT.) I suspect that ranking to be aged.

Australia in front of Ireland??? That can't be right....straight or gay, the Irish have marriage equality ....a freedom not yet enjoyed by Australian citizens.
Last I heard, Switzerland and Finland had some fairly decent access to arms, especially Finland. Full auto weapons were pretty much available. But that was awhile back. These countries may have since been infected with leftist ideals. A quick check - it appears that full auto in Finland is no longer allowed and licensing is required to own anything - too bad.
