As imposing as it looks, it is a mere partial representation of the national health care maze forced by congressional Democrats and the White House on a country that didn't want it.
"This portrays only about one-third of the complexity of the final bill," Brady said. "It's actually worse than this."
No exaggeration there. The Congressional Research Service says it is "impossible" to tally the number of agencies, boards and commissions that the law will yield.

SHEESH..... looks like in the end, it's ALL about creating Bigger Government to take more and more of OUR money, hire MORE government employees, and get MORE control of our lives. It isn't about HEALTHCARE at all.

I cannot honestly believe that the idea is to expand government but that is the consequence. The intent is/was to make health care available to all. The fact is that doing so has to expand the agency(ies) to control (wet their beaks) it, with the obvious cost increase. The open question remains, who is going to pay for this farce? Sure, dot gov employees pay taxes, but they cannot support themselves, and at the rate that dot gov is expanding, there won't be enough private sector employees earning to supply the difference.

The simple fact still remains that even with out this monstrosity, this country is broke. ghrit, your comment about "who is going to pay for this farce" barely scratches the surface...what about all the other crap? Our current DEBT exceeds not just the tax revenue but the GDP of the country. Screw taxing the rich at 100% or even the entire population at 100%. The GDP of the country, people don't fully understand what that means! We could take every DIME of what this country PRODUCES for a year and not get out of debt, including the value of all the PRODUCTS. We...are...screwed. This whole medical debacle is just icing on the cake. There's no more can to kick down the road, no more putting it off, no more later.

The wheels are in motion for the financial collapse and we're all just along for the ride at this point. Anything that gets done (and has been done for the last 30 years or so) is a delaying tactic, sawdust in the bearings as it were.
