An interesting read, RH. Thanks for posting. Prerogative power exists only to the extent that the ruled indulge it, tolerate it, or lack the means and/or will to challenge it.
Absolutely true, Chello, insidious in nature. Unfortunately the majority of our population, as well as other cultures too, I imagine, are blinded by what is being fed to them as in their best interests. We are paying a price for it now but few people seem to care.
