This is the real deal and a great survival tool, be it hot or cold.

I can only review the Heat worthiness for now and will run a test when the heat returns for it has rained and we are in the mid 70s.
    [IMG]73°F, Feels Like: 73°

My plan is to use a thermal reader and select a bare rocky spot in direct sun and take a reading.
I will then read the surface of a similar spot protected by the ThermaShield Blanket and report that temp.

Come fall and winter I will report on rain and cold.

Note, The ThermaShield Blanket is tied to a Humvee top for thermal protection in the attached picture! A pretty tough piece of gear!

I'll try to write up a short review soon.

    Great, rugged gear that works.
I used Force Protector's thermal protective blanket in the Afghanistan winter. This thing must have saved our entire team on some nights where the temperatures were subzero. The uses are endless with this product. From a quick shelter, to subzero temperatures, or even a quick sun shade... this thing does the job, and then some. Our main use for the item was for thermal signature masking in recon situations, which was our job. I cannot day enough about this product, and it’s quality. Thank you ForceProtector Gear.

Works for me. Too spendy for my wallet though. But if I were a tactical operator, I'd definitely have one! Good gear ain't cheap!

we were tryin to fix the link manually, so ya may have seen a number of different links or links that were being changed

plus the forum software automatically changes amazon links, or it tries to, sometimes it does not werk, it appears that forum function made things more foosed

sorry about that, there aint nuthin we can do about it, other than tryin to fix it manually

the 2nd link werks so we should be gud to go (y) (y)
