you can play with the other styles too. We have orange, invision red, and BlackFreeTable. I need to tweak the other new three and I will at some point. If you don't like the Black default, you can always change it back to subSilver. Oh, nevermind the Polish if you use the 3 I haven't worked on yet. melbo
go into your profile or to the bottom right. let me know if you have problems. My plans are to show off my internet savvy for a day and then switch the default back to the original. Users can switch from subSilver if they'd like. Some of these are hard on old eyes
if you change it in your profile... it will always remember your default selection. does seem faster!
OK. Went into profile, and selected subsilver. I clicked on unread posts and this thread came up with a black background, and I had to log in to quote and answer. All the cans and cannots on the black background were cannots, I assume because I wasn't recognized until logging on. Suspect cookies. Anyway, this post looks like it will go silver when I hit submit. Edit to add, yup it did.
Okay other than a slight issue with it asking for my password a bunch of times I love it melbo!!! Thank you and thank you Clyde for your hard work!!! I just love the black color (yep I like odd colors - besides it's easier on my eyes)l.
Agree that it asks for a password a few more times than it used to. So far, it has asked every time I've tried to post. Reported for diagnostic purposes, not complaints. Too early in the startup process for b**chin'. Edit to add, black is the default when clicking on the "Unread posts" link at the top of the page.
The cookie problem is this. We are working on the ###.###.###.### domain right now instead of the survivalmonkey.com name. The cookie thing wants a place to store them but the site is writen wth sm.com in all of the 10,000 areas. I can't change the nameserver over until I pull off the rest of the other info I have at SM. If I change it too quick, I'll try to go back to SM and find myself here. I am going to change that default back to subSilver. anyone who want's to use the other, just select it inyour profile. If the cookie session messes up, you will be bumped back to the default style and asked for a re login. Only last a few more days. I'll get Clyde to do another Big Transfer and then We can kiss the others goodbye.
I'm cool with that. Take the time needed, no squalling from here. If you need an external test mule for diagnostics, say so, ring my chime.

Oh the Blue Smile skin....didn't show the profile buttons and what not....I got really scared I would be stuck looking at that less than manly blue forever!
