I saw this on the news. The pictures are priceless![LMAO]

So; now it goes something like this?

Dispatch: Armed robbery at the bank...5th and Main... officers respond
Officer: He's got a gun... I have a handy slingshot and bag of marbles... looks like he's gonna' be a very rich man.

I'm having a hard time believing this. Didn't see any pics.....need pics.

Did you see the anti-gun comments on that first link? "The criminals will leave their guns at home now and be less likely to kill someone"? What a bunch of frikin MORONS.

That's neat trick; feddy troops removed their weapons for "inspection" probably catalogued their bullet marks too....Good way to take out goodguy officers during a feddy civillian population gun grab ...

A Mexican army soldier watches in the background as Tijuana city police line up to hand over their weapons in Tijuana, Mexico, Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007. Soldiers and federal police poured into the violent border city of Tijuana, manning checkpoints and inspecting local police stations as part of President Felipe Calderon's latest offensive against powerful drug gangs:

Just goes to show how stupid fed govs are. If they actualy are working with the drug cartels and drug runners then they will have no problems at all not only be rearmed by their buddies, but their armament would even be massively upgraded. So only the ones that are gonna follow therules will be disarmed, but then anyone that figures gun controle works cant be all that bright.

I think this is more symbolic assault against the latin male ego..Showing whos boss...
think they have inadvertant dicharge problems, people sneaking up and popping the rubberbands lwhile in the cops holdsters.??T

My sneaky paranoid mind says while doing weapons "inspections" you fire a couple of rounds from each gun into a water tank collect them in an envelope to be filed for each cops gun..When some one makes you mad their particular bullet shows up in a deadguy.they go away legally for murder.

Agreed, though I know not to underestimate the stupidity of the government, I think they did this just to put the cops "back in check".

    Hey...... are those....."tactical" slingshots?

I swear I can make out a rail mounted laser on the one. ;)

"Smith and Wesson is proud to announce a new partnership with 3M office products in order to bring you the latest in service weapons".

They already have pistol grips, so if you add a bayonet lug, they'll be illegal in California.

What type of ammo do they use? Sedimentary my dear Watson.

..... I gotta go to bed, I'm gettin tooo weird.
