I'm just a simple man, with a simple gun that shoots straight and a simple watch.

I like the Casio digital watches, and I wore one like this while my Hamilton was in the shop... which was often. It still has an alarm that sounds every morning, although it seems to be getting quieter. Last time I checked, it was still spot-on the correct time.

  4. I bought an analog watch. Catch a flash, take a mental picture of the second hand, hear the sound, divide by five, number of miles flash was distant from you. Works for lightning (and explosions).

    Zimmy Wait, I'm not ready!

That's the same watch I've been using the last 3 years. I've never had an issue with it except the manual has teeny tiny writing.

I really like the ProTrek, it's rugged and I haven't had any serious issues aside from some moisture inside the case.
I've decided to also give this Mudman a try:

    mudman.
For a sale price of $125 and a seemingly friendly layout design, I think it may better suit my needs.

I wear one of the original Casio solar times pieces. As long as it get an hour or so of light each day, it keeps time well enough to use as a chronometer. For navigation.

For dressing up I have a 24 YO Seiko semi-dive watch. Keeps good time and the battery has proven to be good for many years...

I'm a one watch at a time guy. It will be a long time before I need another one with my Casio solar Pathfinder.

Do y'all recon someone can track the GPS enabled Suunto type watches like other GPS devices?

You have a link for that. News to as GPS passive. Looking for the local oscillator?

An inexpensive automatic Invicta. I have a titanium Seiko that's around 25 years old and an equally old Timex that mostly just sit. Although I just had the batteries changed out.g
I stopped wearing a watch around six years ago. I'm retired and there's clocks in the house so I don't bother.

However with the unrest worldwide & socialist war on America I figure it's a good idea to have an EMP proof timepiece.

Got it from Amazon for cheap added it too a nylon wristband/watch cover. And yes, I got it before joining here or I would have used the Amazon shopping link. (y)

I was going to get a new battery and band for my old casio, but it was cheaper to just buy a new Timex instead! Mostly, I need a watch for work.

I have a pair of G Shocks (two is one one is nine etc) both with nylon straps and protection bars etc. not stylish or expensive (compared to some), both bought or traded for on knife/outdoor forums. No complaints from me.
