    and none in Juneau.....YET.... Just heard Ward Air (Bush Pilots) will NOT fly ANYONE who has not been “ In State” for the last two weeks, PERIOD... No outsiders who come north now, period... Good for them...

    I am a bad bad man, I collect the hips and seed them into all of my fence rows and the birds help a lot with that as well. A wall of Multifloral Roses is a significant defensive barrier. As a bonus even the hogs don't like messing with them. Goats on the other hand just eat them thorns and all.

    The hips are edible, IIRC. Not particularly tasty, but should not kill you.

    My Number One Selling Jelly folks go nuts over the Persimmon/Rose Hip :) Make 5,000 half pints every November and am sold out every year before December 20th. Phone Number has changed so call that number at yer own peril. LOL Jelly that is bad for you and packed with Vitamin C and other good things at the same time. (Make the Jellies and Jams under the Cottage Kitchen Regulations to avoid the Cannery Regulations)

    I am not a herbalist, and don't know much more than what I have gleaned from the interwebs...I just thought that those references might be interesting and useful to some...many people during World War 2 and at other times, have survived on stuff that would have been pulled and burned, or composted as weeds. It may come to that for some, yet again.

    That should be illegal and disqualify them from receiving funds. As it was explained to us, the funds are meant to keep employees working, to relieve the burden of payroll and allow the business community to heal from the crisis. Those of us in the firearms industry are in just the opposite position - we have had to increase our payroll to keep up with demand much as we did in 2016. Our shelves are bare with gun manufacturers buying every AR part we have in stock and placing orders for 20K, 30K, 50K pcs of gas blocks needed ASAP

    Doubt it, more likely mfrs. Maybe dot gov suppliers, but not direct sales of parts, that would be unusual.
