Bought a 98 Tacoma with the 3rz 4 cyl motor.
I knew it was the one for me when I noticed the sticker in the back window.

I'll be building this truck over the next few months. Probably start when it warms up out.
Going to install a 3 " Toytec lift and cut the fender wells out a couple inches to accommodate 35" rubber. Also Going to be installing 5.29 ring and pinion gears and adding lockers front and back.
Building new bumpers and installing winches front and rear.
There will be much more added and I'll keep updating this thread as I hope through it.
Once completed I'll be selling my built samurai.

Nice, look forward to seeing the build done.

I just picked up a Tundra 4x4 CrewMax with a level kit installed. I won't be doing mods like yours, but I will be tweaking some of the interior to better suit me and my family.

It should be a fun project been looking to do this one for a while. It took me a while to find the right truck for the right price.

I've always wanted to build a sand rail type vehicle using Samurai running gear. I've got it all figured in my head but have never come across a Samurai that was suitable/wrecked without having to give an arm and a leg..
