People use credit cards to buy stuff? Huh... that's strange. Where I'm at they sell green tips at the gas station but they only take cash.
If it is going to work so well, what are the codes for fentenal, heroin. narcan, pot, etc. It makes the national news when we have a gun death in New Hampshire due to a relative shortage of the 13 % in the state, cold weather and a work ethic still somewhat common seems to be self limiting. However the number of drug overdoses is disgraceful and the attitude towards them as somehow an accidental thing and beyond the control of the individual to curb his disease somehow limit the response to the deaths. If we executed a few of the middle level dealers and suppliers on say the 10 death they caused, it might sink in that it is a serious problem. In addition the culture needed to support the drug users, both social and financial has destroyed some communities. The theft, prostitution, scamming , etc, needed for the money to support the users, the fear and distrust needed to protect the dealer networks, and then those left behind also need to be cared for. As always, the powers that be seem to think that they can easily limit the problem by controlling it. If it works so well, why has prostitution been around for 5,000 years that we know of? No simple answer that it is not a problem, but a social thing accepted.
WHO is stupid enough to buy guns or ammo with a credit card and online, to boot? CASH IS (always has been and will be) KING!!
Last firearm I purchased that required a 4473, let alone a credit card was in 2011, and it was a crusty old pre-WW2 Mosin-Nagant.
There are people that work with me that will not take their employee discount when purchasing ammo, or pay with a check or card, because that would create a paper trail. Also, never apply for manufacture's discount when buying guns or ammo! Saving a little money is not worth it!
