Pretty sure it's nothing that would cause voters to pause a bit... I'm anticipating sweeping firearms legislation and additional taxes as a starting point. Kate Brown’s Administration on Public Records Lawsuit "The Oregon Court of Appeals ruled on Friday that the Portland law firm Davis Wright Tremaine cannot get a look until after the Nov. 6 election at the draft 2019 legislation it sought. In a lawsuit filed in September in Marion County Circuit Court, Greg Chaimov, a DWT lawyer, explained he and his firm had routinely requested drafts of legislation state agencies submitted pre-session in order to keep clients posted on what laws might be changing. This year, however, the state took a different position than it had in the past, rejecting the firm's request for such information. The state said in court filings that that the draft legislation was covered by attorney-client privilege, and therefore exempt from the Oregon public records law. He argued through his colleague and attorney John DiLorenzo, that only the Oregon Department of Justice could serve as the state's attorney and thus the state's claim that draft legislation was attorney client privileged was incorrect. Such a beautiful state. Eventually it's just going to be completely ruined by the leftists. That is, unless the people of the state get their heads out of their asses and do something about it.
They are banking on getting the 2/3 majority they need in the Oregon House and Senate to pass any and all legislation without opposition. They are only one seat away in each chamber from accomplishing this and they will likely get Gov Brown re-elected. Oregon is screwed by self inflicted Tyranny for the next two years with NO ability for opposition whatsoever. Even if Brown loses with 2/3 vote they can override a Veto. Expect changing legislative rules to cement Oregon as a one party system and legislation to cement control over it's Citizens as a start. They will over-reach to the extent only limited by time and when done will have it all sewed up.
Sadly, there is a very clear and concise history as to what happens to states and cities that are politically controlled by the Democrats.

Funny little voice in my head says Kate is gonna get smashed! Don't know about the 2/3 deal, but maybe that will shift as well! Things are changing, folks are waking up to the insanity in OryGun, so we will see!
I pray for that every day, but I fear the worst is the most likely to come about. Those who used to be Democrats have become Social Democrats, and now the Social Democrats heve become Democratic Socialists. The youth have been fully brainwashed in the schools I pay for and start out as either DS's or Communists where most of us started out a smidge left of center. Even if we put it off it won't be long before the voting demographic here has permanently gone way left. All I can say positive is that the ballots will be counted fairly for the first time since we got the vote by mail system - at least for those that make it to the current SoS. Were things to turn around there are plenty of places on the dry side of the state that would make me happy.
