Hey Chell, over here we have turkey season too. It's on November 6th.We get to choose which turkeys we keep and which we throw out.Can't use shotguns though.Don't know why.
Turkey's in season all year round in our supermarket.....but I sure hate getting the shot stuck between my teeth....ordinary dental floss just doesn't move it....have to use the stainless steel stuff pulled out of kitchen scrubbing pads....we got ducks in our supermarket too, but usually there's a bag limit when they're on special dang it!
Got some of those plastic teeth myself. Makes it easier to get that lead shot out. But steel shot usually requires a little Bondo. Don't have a bag limit here. Plenty of old bags around unless the bingo hall is open.
