Problems #1 is that the Search Box overlaps the Menu Bar. Problem #2 is that the Announcement and Survival Boxes over laps the Recent Threads. See ATTACHMENT for Screen Shots (Well Problem #3 the UPLOAD A FILE button is not bringing up a popup box to up load the doc with screensshots)
Screenshot from my wife's iPad: Screenshot from Chrome under Debian Linux: Screenshot from FF under Debian: I cannot seem to reproduce either of your conditions (nor have we received any other complaints like this), therefore the error must be on your side. I was able to upload 3 attachments with no issue.
TTR, I'm going to suggest that you up your screen resolution from 800x600 to at least 1024x768. That will solve the overlap issue. Your issue is your settings on your screen resolution. You probably experience this same issue on other sites, not just the monkey
I have a bad spot when I up the resolution, and by setting it on the resolution I have now I get a good picture so I will have to live with the overlap. But I have only noticed it on SM as far as I know. Oh well thanks for the info. I am sure that would help but then I would have a big line through the screen so I will live with it like it is until I can get new equipment. Thanks guys.
Yeah, that's a bummer. As time goes by you will probably experience more issue in more places. According to browsers statistics you are in a group of about 3 percent of the global browser population that runs at 800x600. Most of website authors and content template providers are targeting 1024x768 as the new minimum(and most popular). Anything below that it gets really crowed as you have noticed.
Yep, I preferred the higher resolution but left the computer on all night one time and when I woke up it had a messed-up screen (big section in the middle going up and down distorted). I just changed the resolution and it was back to a good picture. I can set it at a real high resolution but I can not see good enough to go in that direction. So I am stuck until I get new equipment.
Yeah. This style is 'responsive' to a degree but after it gets collapsed too far, the boxes run into a minimum width limit.
Buy a 12 pa k of beer, drink 11 and pour the last one in your DVD/cd drive. After the computer shorts out, go to the apple store and buy a MacBook. Problem solved. And you got to drink beer.
Yeah, now why didn't I think of that? Most likely because I didn't have a clue. Anyway I will try that and see what happens. Let ya know after I find the driver download. Thanks for the idea.
First I really upped the resolution and that fixed the SM screen shot. Then I tried to reinstall the monitor driver but that did not workout. So I restored the system and ran the zoom to 75% and it does good, every thing is in place and I still can read alright. So I just have to run the zoom to 75% on this site and it works. Thanks all for the advice.
