My Mother was Rosey the Riveter in Seattle on the Boeing Assembly line. My father was in Pattons Army. Thank you Gator, Really enjoyed this video. As a side note, in 1991 I dove on a PBY and a PBY-2 Privateer. Both went down during the war in lake washington. The preservation of the deep cold fresh water was amazing. In the video I shot you can see bright stainless steel on the ends of the barrels of the 50 cals hanging out of their nacells.
My wife's father was a scout in the Philipines in WW2..America will be poorer when Uncle Jack and my father-in-law and their peers are all gone.God bless'em,every one..
